# Usage & Credits

> Understanding the Acentalis credit system and usage limits.

Acentalis uses a simple credit system to ensure fair access to our high-performance AI features (like prompt enhancement) for everyone.

## Credit Types

### Anonymous Users

If you are using the site without an account, you receive a daily allotment of credits.

* **Daily Limit**: Resets every 24 hours.
* **Features**: Includes standard generation and limited AI enhancements.

### Authenticated Users

Creating a free account gives you more flexibility and higher limits.

* **Daily Grants**: Get a fresh batch of credits every midnight.
* **Persistence**: Your history and settings are saved across sessions.

## How Credits are Spent

Credits are only deducted when you use **High-Value Features**:

| :------------------------ | :---------------- |
| **Standard Generation**   | 0 Credits (Free!) |
| **AI Prompt Enhancement** | 1 Credit          |

## Monitoring your Balance

You can always see your current credit balance at the top-right of the page. If you reach your limit, your balance will automatically reset at the start of the next 24-hour window.
